Welcome, Pilots, to the December 2025 edition of the Tyr Monthly Newsletter. We have some big news to share about our playtest cadence, so let's dig in.

Join us for our next playtest in the New Year

At the conclusion of our December playtest (the longest we've ever had), we announced the dates for our next two playtests.

We'll playtest Tyr again on the following dates:

  • Saturday, January 10th, 2026 at 3:00pm ET - Standard Playtest

  • Saturday, January 31st, 2026 at 3:00pm ET - Updated Playtest

That's right...

We're officially playtesting Tyr more often

Thanks to our community's growth and demand for more Tyr playtest sessions, we've decided to increase the frequency of our playtests from once per month to twice per month.

Players get to playtest Tyr more often, and we'll have access to more invaluable feedback.

Only one playtest per month will feature new content, and we'll ensure that we clearly denote which playtest features new content and which is unchanged.

You'll see that in action above as the January 10th playtest is marked as "Standard" and January 31st is marked as "Updated."

Thank you for 10,000 Wishlists and growing

We've also crossed a new milestone since announcing Tyr in November. Earlier this month, we crossed 10,000 Wishlists. Thank you!

Highlights from our social feeds

Before we head out until 2026, we wanted to share some recent clips from Tyr's social feeds, including this outstanding trickshot from Ikarus and the VTOL.

See you next month. 🫡

Community10 Sep 2026Week one of Early Access, balance changes, Discord integration, and what's nextWe’re already one week past Tyr ’s Early Access launch. We’ve been incredibly happy to see all the feedback coming in and all the time players have already sunk into Tyr . It’s been a great launch, aside from the first 20 minutes when our servers were aggressively hugged by the influx of new players. 😅 Thank you for your patience while we got everything situated. We have a larger patch coming towards the end of the month. ⚙️ General Ammunition · Siphon Shells · Base heal reduced from 20 to 18 Engineering · Adding support for extra debug information to help find graphics card-related crashes 🛞 Tanks Fortis · Fortis mine spread keystone description now correctly mentions that the…Community4 Sep 2026[UPDATED] Weekend Ranked timing & Ranger's graduation from the Alpha ProgramUpdate: We're not turning ranked off tonight. Tyr launched into Early Access last week, and we saw a larger influx of players than anticipated. So, we've decided to expand the Ranked Solo / Duos window earlier than expected. We're going to leave the Ranked Solo / Duos queues on for now in order to evaluate. We don't have a shut-off time in mind, but we'll announce here once we've made a decisio…
