What is CardScrawl?

CardScrawl is a roguelike deck-building strategy game set in a dark gothic fantasy world where tactical duels determine your fate. Battle through the treacherous Chaos Tower, summoning and enchanting creatures, and collecting the tower’s Spoils to shape your champion’s power—all in pursuit of the ultimate challenge: defeating the Tower Lord.

Looking for an even greater challenge? Hardcore Mode enables permadeath, testing your skills with no second chances! Can you reach the top of the tower in a single run?

Why Early Access?

We’re launching in Early Access because we want your feedback to shape the game! CardScrawl is already packed with:
✅ 30 unique champions with their own ultimate abilities
✅ A deep deck-building system with strategic creature summoning
✅ Challenging roguelike progression – defeat opponents, claim Spoils, and climb higher
