Hey Hey Survivors,

We’re here to bring you our first patch! First of all, thank you to everyone who has given their feedback on our game so far, We’ll try our best to polish out the issues you guys pointed out, as well as work our hardest to implement more features and gameplay elements to the game. But all in its due time, and on today’s menu, we mostly have light bug fixes we were able to solve during the weekend.

Character updates

  • Updated character backwards movement speed from 35% to 60% of walk speed.

Item updates

  • Item despawn countdown increased from 30 to 45 seconds
From feedback, we’ve concluded the time was too low.

Misc.

  • Minor network performance updates
  • Minor building optimization updates
  • Added: Option to toggle Friendly Fire in the host menu
  • Removed: Custom lobby names

Bug Fixes

  • A crash from equipping items from a hot-bar slot at the very end of a consumption animation should be resolved.
  • Keybindings should no longer reset in between games or during gameplay.
  • Fixed broken animations on loot containers.
  • Updated faulty image among the in-game tips.

On the horizon

At the moment our main focus is going to be resolving bugs and making the game run as smoothly as possible. For this reason, you can expect us to update the game quite frequently until it moves into a more stable state.

Again, we deeply appreciate the time you've taken to send us your bug-reports and your feedback on Last Farewell. Keep Surviving and don't shy away from letting us know how we can make the game more enjoyable for you!
