About our game

«Grief like a stray dog» — an interactive play that combines elements of visual novels and adventure. The player will immerse themselves in the story of young Nadia, who, replacing her sick mother, becomes a postwoman delivering news from the front. Among the letters are not only words of hope but also tragic notifications.

The events unfold against the backdrop of World War II, although the war itself remains somewhat off-screen. The visual style draws inspiration from neo-expressionism, children's drawings, and Soviet book illustrations. The plot is based on heartfelt stories shared by the grandmother of one of the game developers, as well as motifs from Russian folk tales
