How Do I Make Them Scream? (Demo Update)

Back in December 2025 I attended my first ever gaming convention where I sat at a table with a perpetually greasy Xbox controller hooked up to a dusty laptop floating in the sea of caffeinated drinks that kept my soon-to-be-overcome-by-the-flu body from falling apart at the seams. I was doing my usual car-salesman routine of pitching Screaming Head to a wide variety of Serbian citizens (un)lucky enough to wander into my vicinity as I started to notice a pattern.

Nobody was screaming! (in-game) (by pressing a button on a controller) (I was not torturing anyone I swear)

And that's fine you can breeze through the first three levels by relying on jumping and jumping alone but by level 4 if you haven't acquainted yourself with the mechanic the game is literally named after(!) you're going to suffer way more than intended. As the game is punishing enough already I simply had to do something about it. And I did! I locked player's attention on screaming in the dumbest way possible - by adding a ceiling.

NO MORE JUMPING AROUND (in the first few areas).

Not the most elegant way to go about it, sure but you know if it works it works (and it wooorks)

here's the before/after (level 1):

So yeah, I've updated the demo also made some QoL improvements, now please go SCREAM YOUR HEAD OFF (if you haven't already)

xoxo,

Lexa
