You've learned all about the first characters of the Tournament, but now it's time to show you what's happening behind the scenes with a spectacular new video that will take you all around the world to uncover all the secrets of Screamer.
The Road to Screamer documentary gives you an exclusive look at the process behind creating the video game, featuring interviews with the developers and collaborators working to revive a historic franchise.
From the dev team, we have Michele Caletti, Development and Creative Director; Andrea Basilio, Executive Producer and Associate Creative Director; and Federico Cardini, Game Director, all to talk to you about Screamer, what it meant for Milestone, and how this new game aims to recapture its uniqueness and spirit.
Joining them in this adventure are collaborators from all over the world. Screamer has a rich cast of complex and multi-faceted characters, and Kerry Kazmierowicztrimm, Principal Narrative Designer, will introduce you to this narrative universe, with two of the actors who have contributed their talents to give voice to the protagonists of the game: Troy Baker, appearing as a video game villain for the first time as the mysterious Mr. A, and Aleks Le, who will portray the leader of the Green Reapers, Hiroshi, a character that has allowed him to experience a new perspective of the hero archetype.
The characters in Screamer will also come to life thanks to Polygon Pictures, a historic name in the world of animation. Shimamura-san, Anime Director, will personally describe the work carried out by Polygon Pictures within the game, creating a cross-media fusion that is unique in the racing genre.
You will be able to take a behind-the-scenes look at the vehicle creation – unique cars that perfectly mirror their drivers’ personalities – from Plumehead, the studio that has worked on the cars’ design and the spectacular announcement trailer.
Finally, Art Director Federico Mattioli will unveil the process behind the creation of Screamer’s settings and design, from the contradictory Neo Rey, luxurious and rich in vibrant colors, yet poor and suffocating at the same time, to the Sky Road Desert, a natural environment where humankind wants to impose i
