What's new?

Version 1.2.12 if now out with many tiny tweaks and fixes, but mostly 2 new major features:

  • Windowed mode is back!
  • You can now migrate your saves from Kongregate and ArmorGames to Steam

The details

Windowed mode had been disabled in the game because of an incompatibility between Steam's API and Adobe Air. We've finally managed to have the Steam API load correctly in windowed mode, but the game still requires microtransactions to be done in fullscreen for obscure reasons.

Importing saves is done by loading the web version of the game either on Kongregate or ArmorGames, and from the main menu going to "extras" and clicking "Export save". This will generate a block of text that you then copy and paste into the steam version again from the main menu, "extras" and "import save".

You'll then be prompted to pick between your steam and web save data, and your black market content will automatically be added to your steam account. Sardines, unlocked content, consumables... Everything from the web version will carry over to Steam with no negative effects (e.g. if you didn't have content unlocked on the web but did on steam, importing your save will not remove your unlocked content

Finally there have been a few minor balance tweaks, bug fixes and typos fixed throughout the game, but no extra content or any other major changes took place.
