Hello! We've been cooking on this for quite a while now and the list of changes is pretty enormous so we'll only list the biggest things here. Patch 1.0.25 is now available for public beta testing - to get to it, right click on the game in your library and select Properties, then go down to Game Versions And Betas. You should see a 'Beta' option on the list - no password is necessary. If you do NOT see 'Beta' on the list you may need to restart Steam first (because we just made this visible). Switching to that should update your game to 1.0.25
What's in this new version? Well, first off, we're finally bringing in flavor text for learning different skill levels.
Had to do a bit of fiddly stuff to make this work with the way class studies are designed so we're definitely interested in feedback and any problems encountered with the timing and display of the texts.
As part of adding the flavor texts and adjusting the details of every skill, a HUGE list of skill checks throughout the game had to be slightly altered or have new options added. These will be summarised in a forum discussion post so go there for more info. Yes, this means all the guides are now slightly out of date, sorry!
Next, as promised in the kickstarter stretch goals, special graphics for every romantic outcome:
Every wedding gets a picture. Since Vasily can't be married, he gets a special CG during the game instead.
Along with which we are now adding a CG Gallery to the Checklist! You will need to pay through the big Dragocen confrontation again in order to unlock those images for the gallery.
In smaller changes, the Skip button has been made, by default, MUCH BIGGER because a lot of players simply do not see it and keep hammering away clicking into oblivion instead of skipping through read text. You can turn it back to its original size by selecting Compact Skip Button in the config menu.
The code for feeding an Ebon Blot has been adjusted slightly in order to behave the way it was originally intended and add a little bit of bonus content.
Again, these are the biggest changes - the whole host of tiny changes will be covered in the forums and that is also the best place to give feedback on how things are working and any bugs you encounter.
