Good to be back :)
Today we've just released the first of many major feature updates for this year. This release serves as a stepping stone towards leaving early access, as we plan on shipping multiple large updates over the coming months. But for now, let's talk about what we shipped!
This update completely overhauls how notifications look and feel in VR. NotiVR now ships with a fully custom notification UI, replacing SteamVR's built in notifications. This gives us much more control over the design and opens the door for features we couldn't do before.
Our new notification system is completely configurable via our new notification settings screen, which can now be accessed entirely within VR. No need to take your headset off. We've also taken the opportunity to give the UI a little facelift!
Alongside these design and overlay changes we've fixed a number of bugs and made various quality of life improvements. Including fixing notifications not appearing when XSOverlay is enabled but not running, the desktop window being too small on 4K monitors and icon corruption, to name a few.
See below for the full patch notes
We are planning on releasing 2 or 3 feature updates this year. With the last of these we will be officially out of early access! In no particular order (and not guaranteed as we've not finished building these!)
