Hey folks!
You read that right, the Yooka-Replaylee demo is finally here and just in time for the June Steam Next Fest. This 30-min demo focuses on the start of the game and features new gameplay not yet seen on any showfloor demo, as well as brand-new content that never existed in the original Yooka-Laylee!
PLEASE NOTE that if you gave the demo a whirl over the weekend, an updated version has gone live today fixing some of the performance and frame rate issues people were experiencing. And further updates, including localisation, will be coming throughout the week!
We'd also like to emphasize that the demo has not been optimised for the SteamDeck. This is not to say the full game will not run on the system but the demo at this stage does not. We apologise for any inconvenience.

What's new in the demo?
With approximately 30mins of playable content, the Yooka-Replaylee demo offers players a look at the completely redone start to the game, including brand-new cutscenes! Learn how Yooka and Laylee came into possession of the One Book and play through the stunning crystal cave levels built to offer a fully tutorialised experience. The demo will take players through the sliding doors of the Hivory Towers and all the way until they are about to enter their first Grand Tome. Players will also get a taste of the new Rextro’s Arcade. Save data from the demo will transfer onto the full game at launch.
