Greetings, Commanders!

We received fantastic questions from the community, and our developers were delighted to answer. Check out their responses below!

1. Are there plans for future content updates or dlc?

We're currently working on an update that will introduce additional replayability and new play style-changing rewards within a run. And while expanding the game with more fresh content is something we're really excited about, we don't have firm timelines to share yet. But, it's part of our vision for the future.

2. Are there any plans for the game to be released on future platforms?

Yes, we recently announced that Grit and Valor will be coming to PS5, Xbox X/S, Nintendo Switch and VR Platforms (Meta Quest , PSVR2, SteamVR) on the 21st August 2025. The VR version is a free add-on for Steam/PS5 owners. We hope VR players enjoy playing from this new perspective.

3. Are new types of Mechs coming? The ones in game already are awesome! But just wanted to know if there was anything new with another unique play style?

We’re really glad to hear you’re enjoying the current Mechs! Designing each one to feel unique and impactful is something we care deeply about. While we’re definitely excited to explore new Mechs in the future, it's too early to confirm. That said, an upcoming update will include a rework of Overclocks to give them a bigger impact on your play style, so you’ll be able to experiment with even more variety using the current Mech line-up.

4. What's been your approach to making Grit and Valor accessible, especially from a visual, auditory and motor standpoint?

That’s a great question! Accessibility is a real design challenge in game development, especially given how much interactivity, audio visual feedback, and motor precision is often involved. From the very beginning, we set out to create a more accessible strategy game. That intent shaped a lot of our core design decisions. For instance, keeping the number of controllable units small to avoid overwhelming micromanagement, limiting battlefield size to reduce camera complexity (a common accessibility hurdle), and simplifying the controls wherever possible. In fact, the entire game can be played using just a mouse, even as new features have been added.

Our team is passionate about making sure our game is accessible to as many different types of players as possible, and while it’s always an ongoing process, we made sure to include a range of accessibility options at launch to support different player needs. We know there’s still more we can do, and we’re actively listening to feedback from players who rely on these features to help guide our future updates.

We also aimed to make our accessibility features adjustable to let players dial in their preferred experience. People have different levels of disability and we wanted to have settings that could adjust to those levels. This inspired options like the colour picker and the re-bindable controls. We hope they benefit as many players as possible.

Keep an eye out for a full video in the next couple weeks explaining the processes we used to make the game as accessible as possible.

5. What can we expect for future updates?

Future updates will continue to build on player feedback, with our core focus being on increasing the variety of upgrades you’ll see during a run to keep your battles feeling fresh and engaging. We're also increasing replayability and removing some friction points from gameplay. While waiting for these future updates, you can jump into our recent third update which brings with it enhanced combat feedback, a balance pass on Ability Augments, and new Mech Skins.

6. Has the team considered bringing the game to mobile, allowing players to link their accounts and play while travelling?

A mobile version is something we've definitely thought about and the idea of linked accounts allowing you to carry on the fight on-the-go sounds great. Our current focus has been on supporting and expanding the experience on PC and console. So while mobile isn’t in active development right now, it’s a possibility we’d love to explore in the future.

7. Are there plans for time-limited events or late-game content like wars or alliance-based challenges?

Our current focus is on strengthening the core gameplay and polishing existing features, but we are looking into post-game systems to add additional challenge for players who have completed the game. Your ideas like time-limited and special events are absolutely on our radar for future updates.
