Hey Survivors!
We have a big announcement to share with you all.
Today, we officially announce the revamp of Tri Survive's main characters’ art style! We've decided to give our characters a new look to make them feel more alive, defined, and integrated into the style we want for the final version of Tri Survive! We would love to hear your thoughts on this, so please let us know if you have any feedback on our socials or Discord community!

Why We Reworked the Art?

After a long evaluation, the development team realized that the previous art design did not reflect Tri Survive's overall mood. Besides the aesthetic factor, we also noticed that during our testing phase, the previous silhouettes and sprites weren’t visible, especially during sections where many enemies were on screen, thus making gameplay more frustrating.

We believe that the new style gives all the main characters a different kind of aura and makes them feel more like “heroes” than before. Now, the designs offer more vibrant colors, better anatomic proportions, and richer details for the protagonists’ armor.

So, how can we describe the revamped Tri Survive Art Design?

The development team took inspiration from video games that are also known for their unique art style, such as League of Legends and Unicorn Overlord. The main influence is the high-fantasy look, which allowed the team to create silhouettes with sharper lines that allow us to develop characters with more personality. Something that our past approach could not replicate as well as now.
