We’re really excited to announce The Spectrum Retreat, a narrative driven first-person puzzle game developed by Dan Smith Studios. The game has been in development for 5 years, with the prototype winning the BAFTA YGD Game Making Award in 2016 when Dan was just 18 years old.

Upon check-in to The Penrose hotel it becomes clear than not all is as it seems. Your exploration of the hotel begins to uncover the reality of your current situation, but your desire to uncover the truth is obstructed by a series of puzzles, physics challenges and narrative riddles.
Today we’re sharing a first look at the unsettling environment that sits at the core of The Spectrum Retreat and also a taster of the challenging puzzles you will face during your stay.
