Welcome NPR Listeners

Welcome to everyone joining us from Marketplace! It was an absolute blast chatting with Kai Ryssdal. As a two-man team of twin brothers, seeing so many people get genuinely excited about monetary policy is incredible.

To celebrate the interview, we’ve just rolled out a fresh update. Whether you’re here to pick up the game, check out our 'investment life sim' bundle, or just curious to see what we’re building—we’re just happy you’re here. Thanks for the support! We are excited to announce that testing is complete for two new long-term gameplay modes.

  • Historical Run (1920–2027): Experience a century of authentic historical pressures without the previous 30-year limitation.

  • Sandbox Mode: Found within Custom Mode, this allows for games spanning 30 to 100 years. You can now scale the frequency and magnitude of events to see if your skills as the federal reserves can keep the economy from harsh of stress tests.

Additionally, we have refreshed the User Interface and artwork, and introduced an original soundtrack with customizable volume controls. We also did some balancing for different decades (should be easier transition to the 1950's where the federal reserve starts to be more impactful rather than at the whims of volatility in the 20's, a massive depression in the 30's and world war II in the 40's).Various bugs have been fixed like where starting over was not starting over for the correct game mode and others. As always, we appreciate feedback and look forward to having new players!- Two Brothers At Billmeade Gaming
