Hello everyone!

Over the past few months, we've been working on several improvements for Sandloop, and today we'd like to share some of them with you, apart from announcing an important change.

Sandloop release moved to early 2026

After some discussion, the team agreed to move the release of Sandloop to Q1 2026. For personal reasons, we couldn't guarantee proper support right after the planned launch in Q4 2025, and therefore, we decided to postpone the release to ensure the game will be ready and properly supported after launch, allowing us to quickly address any bugs that may arise.

Dressing

Our level designer has been decorating and adding detail to the entire city of Musawar, making the buildings and streets stand out from one another. Soon we'll be able to show you the other biomes we've decorated, so you can see how the entire game world has been evolving.

Cosmetic collectibles

We've decided to add a new type of cosmetics that can be unlocked by completing various actions spread throughout the map, adding more content to exploration. In addition, these unlockables will come with new challenges.

Here are the concepts!

Steam implementation

We are implementing all the features related to Steam, like Steam Cloud, Steam Input and so on, to improve the user experience! Will give more information about it in the future.

Bugfixing

Many of the bugs we had noted down from the last playtest have been fixed. Thank you so much to everyone who tried the game and gave us their feedback!

We won't list all the bugs that were fixed, since there are many and without the game on Steam it doesn’t make much sense, but we want you to know that we're working hard to make the game as polished as possible so that you can have a great experience.

Thank you all so much and see you soon,

Yoku Games BCN
