Hello everyone!
Over the past two months, a lot of work has been done. As usual, below I’ll try to highlight the most significant and interesting changes.

IMPORTANT

Due to the reorganization of the Residential Area, and especially Ealish’s room, the character save and load system has been improved. Because of this, the first time you load any of your saves, Ealish will appear at the beginning of the game near the incubator.

All your progress is fully preserved. Simply save again in any slot, and from that point on the save will load at the exact location where you left off.

Residential Area

The Residential Area has received major changes. Some locations have been reworked, with employee rooms being the most affected. These rooms were optimized to better match the environment and the game’s story.

New connecting corridors have been added to make movement between areas more logical and convenient.

Several new rooms have also been introduced: General Storage, TV Room, and Poker Room. Previously, some of these areas were located inside staff apartments, which could be confusing for players unfamiliar with the environment. In addition, many small environmental improvements were made.

New Outfits

A new outfit has been added in celebration of the upcoming Christmas and New Year — so Ealish won’t get cold: a long sweater and reindeer antler headband.

A new brightly colored swimsuit has also been added to bring a festive mood.

Stockings are now available in two variants — black and white — as well as white versions of tights and footless stockings. The new outfit magazine can be found in General Storage.

Graphics and Upscaling

Support for DLSS and FSR has been added in addition to the existing TSR. You can now choose between three different upscaling algorithms. New options are available in the Graphics section of the game settings.

The Graphics tab has also been reorganized to provide a more convenient and clearer user experience.

It is important to note that if you were already playing with a Resolution Scale of around 60–70%, switching to DLSS or FSR may not result in a noticeable FPS increase, as the built-in TSR upscaling was already enabled by default.

Saves

The ability to delete save files has been added. You can now remove a save by holding the Z key for a few seconds in the save or load menu.

Audio

As a small bonus, background music will no longer overlap with the elevator waiting music when traveling between floors.

Other Improvements

Many small issues have been fixed and improved, including:

  • a bug where the item description window would not open when accessing the inventory;

  • proper activation and deactivation of options in the Graphics menu;

  • an improved hint for the electrical box puzzle in the staff room in the basement;

  • and many other minor fixes and improvements.

That’s probably everything — hopefully I didn’t forget anything important.
I also want to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. There may be one or two more small patches released this year if needed, but otherwise, we’ll see each other again next year.

Thank you all for your support and for believing in Lunar Eclipse ❤️
