The year is coming to an end with the usual quick annual recap of what happened this year at Osumia Games and what is coming for the (near) future.
Year 2024 recap
2025 will be a special year to us as it will mark the 10th anniversary of the release of RWR here on Steam.
2024 has been a rather successful year for Osumia Games once again. While the sales dropped by around 15%, the RUNNING WITH RIFLES family has still grown by another 80.000 members and on top of that, over 57.000 DLC units have find new owners.
Some other insights about the year 2024's review include 8 updates with 2 major ones including 2 new Summer boxes and a second Halloween Boxes, 3 new vehicles, several new weapons and other goodies!
Osumia Games in 2025
RWR2 is in development!
The past Summer, we've been super excited to make the work on RWR2 finally public. RWR2 will be a whole lot different from RWR1 as already stated in the June Steam News post.
We've continued to experiment some more and we now have a rather solid backbone to work on. Right after the new year, we'll start to post some regular images, short videos and bloopers of the development of RWR2. We'll inform you where to find them, but our Discord would be the first place to go.

Eastern Front WW2 DLC
As you might have read it already in the Steam forum, Eastern Front will be delayed again. This time we will not mention any new release date and take the "it's done when it's done" path. Sorry for all of you who are waiting impatiently!

- invasion: Bad Santa enemy added over the xmas event
- invasion: Xmas box added
- scripts: added content of of the Halloween Boxes to the lottery
- vehicles: VFS combat vehicle driving abilities improved
- weapons: M249 can now be shot in crouched stance
- weapons: M551 tank MG now has a protection hull for the MG gunner
- weapons: MRL rocket dmg and radius slightly increased
- weapons: QLZ87 grenade blast radius increased by 19%
- weapons: Supershorty shotgun now has 2 more pellets per round
- weapons: SV-98 sniper rifle has slightly better recoil recovery
- weapons: Welding Torch ammo increased from 100 to 200
- weapons: Shovel sandbags now last 8 minutes instead of 6
