As Down the Rabbit Hole Flattened is currently free, and we see quite a few redemptions on the game, we thought it might be helpful to put together a short FAQ with some additional details.
What is Down the Rabbit Hole Flattened?
The Flattened version is the immersive VR game Down the Rabbit Hole re-imagined as a PC (and mobile) title. Hence, it's gone from 360 immersive to flatscreen :) As a spare-time project a while back, the team hoped to reach more players who enjoy point-and-click-type games.
How long will the title remain free?
To be quite honest, we are unsure at this time, but we commit to giving at least 30 days' notice before attaching any price. In the conversion over from the VR version, we noticed that some elements of the game became simplified and are conscious of the fact that there are a significant number of really great, and more substantial, indie games on Steam that have modest pricing attached. As this title is a bit of an experiment, we're open to your suggestions!
Are there more games in the series?
Indeed, there are! Down the Rabbit Hole and Escaping Wonderland. If you want to support the developers and own a VR headset, Escaping Wonderland is the spiritual sequel with an all new protagonist and sees the return of some of the characters in Down the Rabbit Hole. The Down the Rabbit Hole Soundtrack is also available to purchase here on Steam. We'll drop the links at the bottom of this post.
Is Down the Rabbit Hole Flattened Steam Deck compatible?
Yes! The default will map a keyboard and mouse profile, with it you can use a combination of controls such as:Right analogue stick to move the cursor, R2 bumper to click
Right trackpad to move cursor, click on trackpad to select
Menu button is mapped to the default menu button, or Y.
Is there Mac support?
Unfortunately, not on Steam, but Down the Rabbit Hole Flattened is also available on mobile, both for iOS and Android. The iOS version is compatible with the later versions of macOS, so you can download it directly from the App Store on your Mac desktop or laptop also! Both mobile versions are also free for the same duration as the PC version.

How do I activate windowed mode?
As Orpheus aptly answered you can get into windowed mode by hitting Alt+Enter. As mentioned above, we have noted it for inclusion in the settings for the wishlist of updates.
