We’re hard at work tackling the points on our roadmap. While it’s taking some time, rest assured we’re making steady progress on both the Challenge Modes update and the upcoming new acts. That’s why you don’t have to worry, that you will have to wait so much for the next update once again.
NIGHTMARE MAPS
What started as a small addition with Challenge Modes has grown into something much bigger than expected. During development, we decided to take this update to the next level and make 10 new maps based on the ones you already know from the main campaign. As a result, the Challenge Modes update will now include 10 "Nightmare" versions of every currently existing map, featuring new mechanics and even more thrilling gameplay. Each mission that Kovalsky has taken on has left its mark on him, and now you’ll have the chance to delve into his deepest nightmares. These maps uncover the darkest corners of his mind, reimagining familiar crime scenes as twisted versions of themselves.
REWARDS
Completing these special nightmare maps will reward you with unlockable cosmetics – special skins – so there’s plenty of incentive to push through the challenge. These maps aren’t just harder versions of familiar levels. Prepare for new scenarios, new crime scenes, old but new locations with an exciting twist!

But that’s not all! As promised, we’re also working on something very special: a brand-new mission “Underground Lab” inspired by the winner of our community contest on Discord! This mission, designed with input from our amazing fan, is about to become real. Maybe later the winner will share with us how it feels to see his own idea in Crime Scene Cleaner?
