Hey Ooble Gardeners! Update v1.1.0 has dropped with some exciting new features with our first major content addition... BUG FRIENDS!
With our first major content update we dropped our cute little bug friends to liven up your pot 🌟. With bugs, you can catch them, and collect them to complete your bug journal! Previously the top area of the pot was locked, but with this update you can now unlock it with a level up point, granting you the bug net tool and making it so that bugs can now periodically appear in your pot!
Major Features:
New Bug Net Tool - Allows for catching our new, cute little friends. 🙌
11 New Bugs - Find them in your pot during different times of day. 🦋
Top Area Unlocked - A new unlockable location in the pot, unlocking it allows for bugs to appear in the pot! 🪴
Explore your pot filled with cute bug critters and catch them to fill out your journal!
We've also dropped a new trailer for the game showcasing our major bug update, check it out!
Added:
Added a new visual effect for picking up and removing items.
Added a new build sound effect for placing items on tables, fish tanks & the bug stand.
Added new animations to Frogs, Toads & Tortoises.
Added a new sound effect for the Journal UI.
Quality of Life:
Can no longer place items on stairs & bridges.
Oobles can now walk to their spawn point to go to sleep.
Added a new animation for placing items.
Improved the Ooble AI.
Added new and improved experience sprites.
Updated the map of the Pot to showcase the new unlock-able area.
Bug Fixes:
Fixed clipping issues with the stairs in the world that Oobles can walk on.
Fixed item duplication issues.
Fixed item deletion issues.
Fixed recycler issues.
Fixed controller navigation in the journal UI.
Fixed sound effect issues that would all play when loading into a save.
Fixed issues when merging and creating fish tanks.
Fixed the Oobles talking to sleeping Oobles.
Fixed issues with Oobles walking out of bounds.
Fixed Oobles sleeping on stairs or on/in water.
Fixed an issue with the Camera zooming in and out.
Note: whilst we have fixed a lot of bugs, we apologies in advance if there are any other persisting bugs. If this does occur, please do not hesitate to mention it in our bug report form, or on our discord.
