Good News, Islanders! 🌴
After originally announcing that Luma Island: Pirates would require starting from scratch, we're happy to say that (thanks to your feedback and some creative problem-solving) we've found a solution that lets you bring your progress with you!
While Pirates will still begin with a new save to support all the big updates (like the new farm layout, Pirate Cove zone, new profession, and new difficulty options), you'll now have 2 ways to play Pirates:
✅ Option 1: Choose to bring your progress with you and:
- Most of your inventory items will come with you
- Everything placed on your farm (animals, crops, buildings, etc.) will be safely packed into a special chest on your new farm
- Tool upgrades, blueprints, craft benches, buildings etc. will be refunded as resources and money in the same chest. It's up to you to decide how you want to spend it all.
🔍 A few things won’t make the journey: Quest progress, story-related items, and progress outside your farm won’t carry over, but everything important to your farm life will be right there with you.
We know your farm took time and creativity, so if you decide to rebuild your farm, you'll have enough resources and money to bring your vision to life again!

Want a totally clean slate? Choose a completely fresh start for the full Luma Island: Pirates experience:
- Discover everything as if for the first time, with no inventory or upgrades carried over
- Build your dream farm from the ground up
