📢 Librarians, big news! 🏛️✨

We’re beyond excited to bring you native Linux support 🐧 and a new, optional Book Storage 📚! Now, you can keep books organized without displaying them in your Library—just remember, visitors won’t check your Office for books! Plus, we’ve improved how points are awarded in Score Mode and added a Performance Tracker for those aiming to master Survival and Score Modes!

None of this would be possible without you, our amazing community! 💖📖 Your feedback, reports, and enthusiasm keep making Libritopia even better. Thank you for every bug you’ve found, every suggestion you’ve shared, and every story you’ve told us. Please keep them coming—we’re always listening! 💬✨

Now, go enjoy the update and let us know what you think!

📕MAJOR UPDATES:

  • Linux Version Released: Libritopia now has a native Linux version!
  • New Book Storage: A new shelf in the Office lets you store books without displaying them in the Library. Just keep in mind, visitors won’t check the Office for books!
  • Save System Updated: Saves are now linked to each user’s Steam account. You can log in on another machine and your saves will carry over without mixing up with others on the same device.
  • Score Mode System Updated: Score values now increase based on visitors' remaining patience when receiving help or being assisted at the counters. If you want the highest possible score, speed is key!
  • Tracking for Best Performances in Challenging Modes: A tracker for your best performance in both Survival and Score Modes has been added to the Game Mode screen.

📙 MINOR UPDATES:

  • The book info toggle is now enabled by default. Players can toggle it on or off using the right mouse button when looking at books.
  • The first clients in the counter queue will now start losing patience as expected in applicable game modes.
  • Improved search speed in the Libridex screen on the main menu.

📘 BUG FIXES AND ADJUSTMENTS:

  • Fixed an issue where books would float when removed from a stack at the Book Return Counter.
  • Fixed a bug that prevented the library name from appearing correctly on the Save Selection screen.
  • Fixed a text size issue when removing furniture.
  • The Build Screen can no longer be opened while using a computer.
  • Fixed a bug where changing the game language during gameplay didn’t update the Book Checkout screen.
  • Fixed a bug where leaving a match while the Daily Report was open caused a broken save. Now, if players leave during the report, loading that save will return them to just before the day ends.
  • Fixed book positions on the 18-slot shelf—again...
  • Adjusted book rotations inside stacks to be more intuitive.
  • The Office computer screen will now close automatically when finishing the day.
  • Made various minor usability and UI improvements.
  • Fixed missing or unclear translations.
  • Fixed text alignment issues.
