An update to DYNASTY WARRIORS 8 Empires has been released.
The update will be applied automatically when you restart the game.
* The following functionality has been added
・Way of life and adept stratagems can now be configured for custom officers
・Multi-Musou can now be performed with spouses, sworn siblings and children
・"Instant Base" can now be selected under individual orders
・Custom units can now be downloaded
・Custom units can now be placed in custom scenarios
・High-difficulty level scenarios with special rules in Free Mode
・On the pre-battle screen, bonus points can now be used to temporarily strengthen the playable character or their allies
・Custom officers can be registered
・Creation of Custom Scenarios from pre-existing scenarios
* The following items have been modified/improved
・Character still displays for custom officers
・In-battle dialogue and battle status message conditions and frequency
・NPC officer stratagem activation conditions
・Changes to officer dialogue in response to superiors and subordinates
・Volume for some custom voices
・Capture conditions of officers when losing a battle
・Quest time limits
・During capital invasions, abilities are now adjusted depending on the number of control territories
・Conditions for hit stun when taking damage
・Knock-back distance when taking damage
・Capture conditions of enemy officers
・Frequency of system messages when a stratagem is activated
・Conditions for hit stun when taking damage
・The playable character can now be changed when using the strategy commands "Invade," "Defend," "Raid," or "Join"
・Multiple officers can now be selected when using the strategy command "Dismiss"
・The conditions by which non-playable character vagabond units raise their banners
・When non-playable character vagabond units raise their banners, the player can choose whether or not to suppress them
・The playback timing of DLC BGM
・The amount of troop strength expended when non-playable character kingdoms invade another kingdom
・Dash, shadow sprint, and switch weapon can now be performed while performing an EX attack with the following weapon types: "Flame Blade," "Mandarin Duck Hooks," "Paired Fans"
・Victory conditions for defensive battles
・Capture conditions of enemy officers
・Amount of monthly resources earned by NPC forces
・Less of a decrease of post-battle NPC forces
・Required number of generals for custom scenarios
・A portion of dialogue and occurrence conditions for political events
・Several other modifications/improvements
* The following bugs have been fixed
・Stratagem would sometimes activate after officer was defeated
・Individual orders would sometimes not work
・Setting all allies to "Escort" with individual orders would disable use of Large Scale Stratagems
・Crash when changing Custom Officer equipment multiple times from the Strategum Screen
・Crash when switching Marching Officers with the 2nd player from the Marching Officers selection screen
・Two player characters appearing in event "On to the Final Battle" when playing as a strategist
・Unable to play raids with a 2nd player in local offline play
・Low stats of children born from married Custom Officers
・Crash when performing a specific operation while on the Free Mode officer selection screen
・Player character would take thunder, fire and ice strike damage during a Musou attack
・Crash occurring sometimes during a Rage Attack
・Assassination quests crashing in certain territories
・Officer gender and way of life being deemed as invalid when performing a specific operation in Custom Scenarios
・Issue where a custom officer's stats would reset on the capture screen when highlighted with the cursor
・Issue where starting Empire Mode with a custom unit that has a set way of life displays a corrupt Xiahou Dun model on the Stratagem screen
・Issue where Virtue for a character with a set way of life isn't reflected in Empire Mode
・Enemy NPC difficulty causes invalid ability offset
・The banners, warhorses, and soldiers of units placed in Custom Scenarios were not reflected in Empire Mode
・Some residences caused the game to slow down
・On the Marching Officer Selection Screen, trying to enter "Individual Orders" after replacing players 1 and 2 caused the game to crash
・The symptoms causing character wrists becoming smaller due to favorite weapons have been alleviated
・Several other bug fixes
