Hello Breakers! This is Troy from the Super Circuit Breakers dev team. It's been awhile! We're excited to bring you a very comprehensive 2.0 update for Super Circuit Breakers, but with many new changes comes a lot of testing needed to validate those changes. So my humble request as director to you the player:
Please help us finish this update by joining the "online" beta branch on Steam and trying out our new content.
With that out of the way I have put together a few features from our new update for you to look forward to:
Online Support You can play Arcade mode with up to 5 others on Steam now! We will be expanding functionality in the future but in this Beta you can Host public lobbies and play good ol' classic Circuit Breakers with very little compromise over an internet connection. This was the #1 most requested feature we got, please try it out! 1440P & Ultrawide Support The new version of Super Circuit Breakers supports just about every aspect ratio, we think it will look excellent on most modern screens. Previously the game scaled from 960x540 to whatever monitor resolution you had, which looked fine for 1080p + 4k but left a lot to be desired on 1440p monitors. All fixed now! Play Local With CPUs A feature we're still testing, but you can now play with local CPUs in Arcade mode. These CPUs are nearly like having a friend play with you, but don't offer some of the respawn benefits. Try playing a few rooms with a buddy CPU! These changes are now live on our "online" branch and should be live to everyone very soon!
