Did you like The Wreck, its naturalistic tone, its real-world topics, its complex characters? Did you maybe think you would have enjoyed a bit more gameplay? Well, then, let me introduce you to Ithaca. In this narrative road-trip RPG, you play as Penelope, an environmental rights lawyer who’s had enough of losing to major polluters. So she joins a radical activist group… and steps into a top-secret operation. Not sure what that means? Just know this: the CEO of a major oil company is tied up in the back of your car. Yeah. It’s that kind of trip.

Now the question is—will you see it through, no matter the cost? Or will something along the way make you question everything?

If that sounds like your kind of game, we’ve got good news: we’re currently gearing up for a crowdfunding campaign to bring Ithaca to life. And as you can imagine, getting a project like this funded isn’t exactly a walk in the park. So if you want to support us, head over to our “launching soon” page and show your interest by following the project.

(7/7)As part of a series celebrating The Wreck's first anniversary, here's our last interview. This time, it's with Florent, who co-wrote the game with his sister Coralie and also took care of the game design. Florent actually was in a car accident in 2017 (luckily without any bad consequences apart for a totalled car), which gave him the initial inspiration for The Wreck! Who are you and what was y…
