Yooo Party People, Oh baby oh baby. We gotta start with a THANK YOU. Thanks to all of you that jumped into Nocturnal Temptations and gave House Party’s final DLC a proper run through the woods. Literally. Thanks for posting your reactions and theories in the Discord, and sharing your favorite moments with us. But most importantly, thanks for BREAKING OUR SH*T. Yeah, we’ve heard you loud and clear. Some of the DLC just wasn’t working right. So today, we’re here to tell you that we've fixed that. Since Nocturnal Temptations' release, we've been working hard to fix these issues and we've pushed a total of 7 patches and hotfixes, including today's patch. Today’s update focuses on the remaining bug fixes. We've fixed a lot of them – with a focus on the beginning and the end of the DLC. First off, the DLC is much easier to start. Expect a narrative text to pop up if you have the DLC installed, directing you towards the start of the adventure. Easy as that. Second, we polished up the post-Nocturnal Temptations story content for Gisella. We identified several borks that were preventing her scenes from triggering properly, or cutting off content that should most definitely have been there. If you ran into weirdness (or a lack thereof) upon return from your time-travel adventure, our bad. This patch should smooth that out. Some other quick fixes: We fixed some hiccups when returning to the present halfway through the DLC. We also fixed issues around Vickie’s romance cutscene – shout out people who fell through the map (sorry)!
We’ve been grinding through every issue you guys have brought to our attention, and we’re confident we've smacked the biggest issues right in the mouth. We’re a small team and Nocturnal Temptations was our most ambitious DLC we've made, but we’re sticking with this thing until the very end.
