It is with excitement that we announce the newest version of Stonemachia's demo, refined and enriched thanks to all your support and feedback during this incredible year and a half!
With this new ‘update’, you'll be able to re-live the first moments of Stonemachia like it's the first time, thanks to a completely revamped tutorial level, an even more dynamic combat system, new mechanics, and much more!
And now a deep dive into all the new features of the new Stonemachia demo!
Overhaul maps and content:
The Sacrigera Fortress tutorial map has been completely revamped with a new progression, new enemies and new secrets!
The Arena is enriched with new enemies and a new special reward that will let you further explore Medhelan and what Stonemachia has in store!
Combat System Overhaul:
Introducing the new Gambetto System, a completely new game mechanic that will allow you to unleash the hidden power of the Angelic Armour and use a range of powerful special attacks that can both damage the protagonist and activate unique abilities if parried in time! (yes, now you can also parry yourself)
Complete Overhaul of the Horse.
Now the Horse is able to pierce enemies, throw its horn and, by using its Gambetto skill, make crosses fall from the sky!
General balance overhaul of all four chess pieces.
Completely re-designed healing system.
Now healing no longer involves multiple vials but a single item that can be recharged by parrying and defeating enemies.
HUD and menus:
We added the option of re-mapping keys for both gamepad and keyboard. This functionality is still a bit broken but we will polish it up in the future.
Revamped dialogue interface and revised the interaction system in general.
To access the new content, select ‘New Game’ from the main menu after downloading the update!
