Hey everyone, got another content update for you which introduces a few highly-anticipated features (custom logo support and redshirts) along with a couple of bug fixes. Changes listed below:
Features Added
- Added custom logo support. To use this feature, you'll need a folder with two subfolders "ProTeams" and "Teams", place .png image files labeled with the team abbreviation (e.g., NYK.png, UNC.png) within these subfolders. The abbreviation must match the team's abbreviation in-game for the logo to display correctly. Logos should be in PNG format, ideally square and at least 256x256 pixels for best results. For new saves you will have the opportunity to select the logo pack when creating the save, for existing saves you can select a logo pack through the options menu.
- You can now redshirt players. You can redshirt a player at any point during the season (via the Training > Redshirts page), as long as they haven’t appeared in any games.
- Added sort-by buttons for Head Coach (HC), Assistant Coach (AC), or Graduate Assistant (GA) in relevant staff views.
Bug Fixes & Tweaks
- Fixed a bug where conference games were sometimes home/home or away/away series. Teams should now correctly play one home and one away game when facing an opponent twice in conference.
- Bracket display improvements: CT/NT brackets now keep teams in their correct visual position based on bracket flow instead of reordering by seed each round.
- Fixed an issue where conference tournament games weren’t always appearing on team schedule pages.
- Fixed blocked shot miss markers showing on the wrong side of the court.
- Fixed a bug where League History showed the wrong class year for National Player of the Year award winners.
- You can now click on player names on the Cut Players page to be taken to that player’s overview page.
- Fixed a bug where attendance wasn't correctly recorded for user team tournament games.
- Refined the player transfer logic to give potential transfers a better idea of their expected playing time in the upcoming season.
- Made balance adjustments to award voting - made team success slightly less impactful and made the national awards slightly favor players from high prestige conferences.
- Adjusted the expected record formula to factor in prestige more to help balance long-term prestige shifts.
