As all fans of the Gothic franchise know, being thrown into the colony requires a lot of preparation: Commit a crime of your choice. Get caught. Let the king's loyal servants drag you to the edge of the barrier. Have a fine judge read out the sentence (in the name of King Rhobar the 2nd, yada yada...). And finally get punched down into the colony.

With the ongoing war against the orcs, the king has a high demand for convicts who will mine the magic ore from the Valley of Mines, and to make the process of newly convicted criminals being thrown into their new life, meticulous preparations are needed. Therefore, from today on, you can do your part and be as ready as possible for when the adventure begins on June 5th, 2026, and pre-order your copy of the Gothic Remake on PC, on PlayStation, or on Xbox today!

The Pre-Order Trailer on YouTube:

The PC version is available for €49.99 and comes with a special bonus: the official soundtrack. Composed once again by legendary composer Kai Rosenkranz, who returned for the Gothic 1 Remake, the soundtrack reimagines familiar melodies while introducing new compositions that perfectly capture the spirit of the original.

Gothic 1 Remake is in development for PC, PlayStation®5, and Xbox Series X|S, launching June 5th, 2026.

Enjoy & stay tuned!
