Thank you again to everyone who has been playing Chowdown Kitty and sharing feedback with us. We've been reviewing player reactions, bug reports, and gameplay issues closely. This update focuses on polishing several systems and resolving a number of bugs reported by the community.
Below are the improvements and fixes included in Version 1.0.2.
Improvements
ā¢ Clarified the requirements needed to unlock certain achievements
ā¢ The timer now stops counting down the moment the player reaches the score required to win. This prevents long combos from reducing the final ranking due to time penalties
ā¢ The name of the island in Adventure Mode now appears only once when selecting a cat
ā¢ The stage completion screen now includes a button to return directly to the Lounge
ā¢ Added a sound effect when entering the Shop
Bug Fixes
ā¢ Fixed an odd transition effect when selecting a cat in Adventure Mode after stage 7-10
ā¢ Losing a stage now correctly returns players to the Island screen in Adventure Mode or the Lounge in Free Play
ā¢ A crown now correctly appears next to your name after completing Adventure Mode
ā¢ The selected cat will no longer change if story dialogue is clicked through while cat selection is open
ā¢ Fixed a bug that prevented the story from continuing near the end of the game. Players who passed this point will now see any missed conversations the next time they enter Adventure Mode
ā¢ Wander now introduces himself in a more player friendly way
ā¢ Fixed a bug where Catherine was speaking on behalf of Wander
ā¢ The Lounge jukebox now displays at the correct size
ā¢ Fixed a bug that prevented the jukebox from being interacted with
