Meanwhile, Steam Next Fest has just come to an end. For our team, this moment marks more than just the close of the Spring Festival — it's a major milestone for Mona: The Endless Journey.
Over the past week, we've been truly overwhelmed by your enthusiasm. Whether you downloaded the demo, left a thoughtful review in the community, or reported bugs in our group chat — it's your support that makes Mona's world feel more alive. Seeing all the passionate discussions around the game is the biggest motivation for us to keep polishing and improving.
During Next Fest, we gathered a ton of invaluable feedback. To live up to your expectations, we've already hit the ground running on our next steps. As we work toward the full release, we'll be focusing on four key areas:
Combat Overhaul: We're reworking the core combat mechanics with a focus on improving intuitive feedback and making the controls feel more responsive and satisfying.
Difficulty Rebalancing: Based on the issues many of you pointed out, we'll be adjusting enemy difficulty and refining the pacing of encounter design to ensure a smoother gameplay experience.
Deeper Map Exploration: We're adding more content to the maps and expanding exploration depth to make every adventure more rewarding.
New Systems & Narrative Experience: A brand-new map system, inventory system, and journal system are on the way! These will greatly enhance story immersion and make it easy to revisit tutorials and key discoveries at any time.
Although Next Fest is over, if you haven't had your fill — or want to recommend it to a friend — the demo will remain available for a while longer! Feel free to jump back in anytime and explore the world of dreams.
