▍About the Game
Mona: The Endless Journey is a 3D side-scrolling Metroidvania. Players play a fragile pillow-carrying girl, adventuring in a nightmarish fantasy continent. They rescue powerful companions, traverse mysteries, solve puzzles, fight eerie creatures, and uncover the world’s hidden truth.
▍DEMO Overview
This demo lets you step into the "Underground Sea" chapter ahead of time and experience its core gameplay and story.
✔ Approximately 60 minutes of gameplay: A single complete playthrough takes around 60 minutes, though your actual time may vary depending on your puzzle-solving pace and combat strategy.
✔ Deep dive into the "Underground Sea" opening levels: From scene exploration to core puzzle-solving, to a full battle against the chapter's first boss — experience the game's level design and combat mechanics firsthand.
✔ Free exploration after defeating the boss: Your journey will not end after beating the first boss. You can continue with your current save, freely return to unlocked areas to find anything you missed, practice combat techniques, or challenge the boss again to refine your strategy.
▍The Story of the "Underground Sea"
The opening is shrouded in mystery: a girl awakens in a pool of crimson water, only to be immediately dragged into the depths below by several mysterious black hands. When she opens her eyes again, she finds herself before a vast and eerie black ocean — this is the "Underground Sea." Perpetually veiled in hazy fog, the air here is damp and cold, and the sea's surface gleams with a thick, dark sheen that sends chills down your spine.
Story-wise, this demo will give you your first glimpse into the mysterious origins of the "girl in white," while planting key seeds for the bonds between companions. As for where the full story leads — that will be revealed in the official release.
