New content on the way! Blastophage and combo trials out on February 20, 2026!

Save the date, v1.2 is almost here!

The next Exploding Judo Federation patch is on its way!

On February 20, 2026 Version 1.2 will be out with the following adjustments:

New content

• One new playable character: Blastophage, coming with 2 alternate costumes

• New costumes: one new costume for Barion and for Apple, and a returning beta costume for Junrao

• One new stage: "What's Left Behind", a new desert stage slightly larger than Tori Graveyard but not as large as Stratosphere Underground (preview on YouTube)

• Moveset tutorials and combo trials for all playable characters (excluding bosses)

• Revision Select for Arcade Mode (Classic and Gauntlet only)

• New lore archive entries connected to Blastophage

• Version 1.1 (Dec. 2025) will be selectable in Revision Select

• The in-game font has been adjusted to better display the dots on the "i"s (yes, it was Prince Barion, not Prince Barlon, but tell it to the font)

Balance adjustments

• Callowman has been slightly reworked, further expanding his movest. Patch notes will come at a later date

• Nanami, Bea, Junrao and Shocker all received some changes which will be detailed when version 1.2 drops

• Jump moves are now easier to buffer, but only one air move can be performed before landing. As a result, all air moves had their frame data tweaked to prevent them from being too negative on early hit
