Gameplay & Checkout

  • Customer cash payments are now more realistic. Customers will no longer hand over odd amounts like $45 for a $20 checkout.

  • The last scanned item is now always shown at the top for both the checkout desk and self-checkout.

  • Fixed the ghost object/product issue on checkout, which was a side effect of the new custom culling optimization.

  • Fixed an issue where non-slicable seafood products could become invisible on the chopping board.

Visual Improvements

  • Increased the upper floor ceiling height.

  • Polished the customer area ceiling, lighting, and overall visual look.

  • Removed the pipes and corrugated metal ceiling in the customer section.

  • Replaced them with tiled lights and ceiling blocks for a cleaner and tidier retail environment.

  • The game engine version has been upgraded to benefit from more recent optimizations.

  • Fixed some products that were not properly benefiting from the product draw distance system.

Main Sign Customization

New customization options have been added for the Main Sign:

  • Added a color wheel for sign color

  • Added a color wheel for text color

  • Neon and Normal text modes

  • Text alignment options for center, left, and right

  • Option to remove the Megastore postfix

  • Adjustable font size

Warehouse Improvements

  • Warehouse trucks have been visually reworked to feel more like an actual truck interior.

  • Truck capacity has been increased from 10 pallets / 140 boxes to 16 pallets / 224 boxes, which is roughly a 60% total capacity increase.

  • Pallet rack labels are now shown on both sides, moved to the front of the rack, made bigger, and can now display up to 4 characters.

  • Pallet rack labels are now editable with a 4-character limit, giving you more control over warehouse management with custom tags like GR01 for grocery items, or any system you prefer.

  • Fixed an issue where old queued dollhouse orders could prevent the dock door from opening.

  • Fixed an issue causing vending machines to clip into a certain wall on the right side of the entrance.

  • Fixed an issue that prevented pallet labels from appearing on furniture items.

Save System Improvements

  • Added an extra backup layer to the save system, so each save now keeps two copies.

  • This should make saves much safer against rare cases such as:

    • power cuts during saving

    • crashes during saving

    • running out of disk space

  • The game will no longer autosave on exit.

  • Autosaving at the end of each day will continue as before.

  • Thank you all again for the support.

This update is more focused on visual improvements, bug fixes, and polish, and I wanted to get these changes into your hands without waiting any longer.

Another update is already on the way, bringing finance options and more general improvements to the game. Thank you again for all the support and feedback.
