Hey everyone!

It’s been a while since our last big update, so today I’d like to share a full overview of what’s been happening in NextBuild over the past year. A lot has changed, a lot has improved, and the game is slowly shaping into what it’s meant to be.

🚗 Cars - Nolv5

The Nolv5 is meant to be an entry-level car that still make it ideal for testing different setups and upcoming gameplay systems.

  • FWD European car

  • 2.0 VSI

  • It will initially have 3 trim levels.

    • Base (2.0 VSI ECO)

    • Style (2.0 VSI)

    • GT (2.0 VSI TURBO)

  • Exterior and deformation is almost finished

🔧 Engines - 20 VSI

The Nolv5 introduces a new 4-cylinder 20VSI engine.

  • European 2.0l 4 Cylinder engine

  • Manual / Automatic (DCT)

  • 120-200 HP (Much more with aftermarket Parts)

🗺️ Map & World Development

The map has progressed significantly since last year.

  • Gas station – refueling and basic vehicle interaction

  • Starter apartments – early-game housing and player base

  • Junkyard – finding random parts and vehicles

  • Driving school – structured introduction to driving mechanics

  • Car parts shop – purchasing essential components and upgrades

📘 Features

  • Steering Wheel Support
Basic steering wheel support has been implemented.
Provides more realistic driving input compared to keyboard or controller.
This system will be expanded and refined in future updates.

  • Chapter System
A new chapter-based progression system is now in development.
The first two missions are currently playable.
This system serves as the foundation for a structured, story-driven experience.

  • New Item System
A redesigned item system has been added.
Items are now better structured for future expansion and gameplay depth.
This system supports vehicle parts, upgrades, and world interaction.

Development is currently focused on releasing the first playable demo.

  • The demo will be available on Patreon

  • It will showcase core gameplay systems and early progression

  • This demo will serve as the foundation for future updates
