Early Access: V.03 - Quality of Life Update ( 03/10/2025: 12:00 PM )

[ Importing your Friend's Islanders! ]
You can now import islanders into your game. All you need to do is to get the islander's (albeit lengthy) code from another player and copy/paste that into the Islander Code Importer in the Islander Creator! This is a huge step in the right direction for New Day as we've never had something like this in the game before. We hope to see people sharing islanders soon!
[ Importing your Friend's Rooms! ]
You can now import rooms into your game. The process for implementing this is the same as your islander's codes.
[ Fredrick: The Shopkeeper ]
Fredrick is now implemented in the game as the 3rd shopkeeper residing in the Town Hall. If you want to change the SPM (Seconds per Minute) of your island or your island's name, visit Fredrick!
And with adding Fredrick as a shopkeeper, I've changed how your island's name works! You can now type up to 64 characters, include spaces, numbers, symbols, etc! Feel free to get creative with your island's name.
[ Bug-Fixes ]
- Fixed a bug that caused an islander to continuously dump out a box of pampas if they were visiting their friends apartment and chatting with them.
- Fixed a typo in the "jail your islander" button tooltip.
- Islanders will no longer phase through the walls that you can place down in the Room Editor.
- Hopefully fixed the issue where the game would cause a white screen on subsequent play sessions if you previously crashed.
- The Phrygian Cap has been moved slightly lower to hide any hair that cuts off.
- Optimized the island scene a bit more!
- Fixed a visual glitch that caused stars to grow extremely large if you sped up the time on the island.
- Fixed an oversight that caused the "o" mouth to appear when an islander is talking even if the islander has their mouth removed.
[ Additions/Improvements ]
( Islanders )
- In the past, islanders who are visiting another islander's apartment were unable to do anything but talk to the owner of said apartment. Now, islanders aren't restricted to just chatting with each other. They're able to do whatever they want in their friends apartment! From dumping out a box of pampas to doing some workouts! Neat, right?
- Islanders will now interact with the furniture in their apartment, such as their bed, chairs, etc!
( Islander Quirks )
- Added a new quirk: Antisocial.
- Added a new quirk: Boring.
( Islander Dreams )
- Added a new dream -- "Magical Girl Transformation".
( Islander Animations )
- Improved the "Nodding No" animation.
- Improved the "Nodding Yes" animation.
- Improved all 3 "Talking" animations.
( Islander Problems )
- Added a new islander problem that islanders can gain if they've unsuccessfully tried to befriend another islander.
( Makeup )
- Added 13 new makeup pieces.
( Room Editor )
- Added 23 new wallpaper.
- Added 1 new flooring.
( Text Editor )
- Added the "Magical Girl Transformation" dream dialogue to the Text Editor.
