Ever heard of BitSummit?

It's a lovely indie games festival taking place in Kyoto. We've been there with Samorost 3 a couple of years ago and now we came back with CHUCHEL. As you would imagine, it was tons of fun to meet with fellow devs, fans and newcomers. However there was one particularly amazing moment.

Watching parents play CHUCHEL with their children is always as heartwarming as it gets. So at this year's BitSummit there was this little kid who was a bit... careless about the game at first. Almost critical. But his dad wanted to try it anyway. And I'm so happy he did, because after a couple of minutes just dazedly watching the screen, that same kid hurried to sit on his dad's lap, took the headphones and became completely enchanted, smiling and curiously clicking on literally everything.

I didn't understand a single thing they were saying because they were only speaking Japanese, but it sure felt great.

They came back twice to play some more.

Finally there was a little cherry on top of all that - a 'Media Highlight' award from Dengeki PlayStation! :chuchelwow:

See you again, Kyoto!
Lukas
