Pre-release Updates

Killer Chambers · published 31 Mar 2019, 11:23 UTC

Killer Chambers is releasing in 5 days but during the last weeks we didn't stop to fine tune the game.

In the recent pre-release updates we focused on balancing the first time experience so now the main run of the game feels more welcoming for new players.

Also we added around some help dialogues to better explain some game mechanics and point out the controls during gameplay so it's not needed to interrupt the game session to consult the (still present) help in the system menu.

Also worth mentioning is that now the game supports 2K and 4K displays.
Killer Chambers uses a retro inspired pixel look and to keep crisp edges it does not simply scale up the image inside the window blurring it out, instead it dynamically scales the game's pixels.
For example one in-game pixel measures actually 10 pixels on 4K displays!
