Hey pilots! We are back with another monthly update!
Over the past month we have been putting the final touches on some of our end game levels namely worlds 4 and 5. It has been amazing to see the team work together to create some truly gorgeous looking levels but also from the level design side of things... a bit mean.
Some of the newer levels have been going through some vigorous play sessions though to make sure they don't cause to much grief for players.
The aim of the game is to be hard, but not hurl your controller and break things hard. So this month has been a lot of playtesting and tweaking of levels to make sure they are not just challenging but also fun.
This week we had a local meet up with Tas Game Makers in Launceston. It was great to meet so many new faces as well as see some old faces and talk about everything games and how we as a state are working to put our mark on the games industry.

Our next major event is PAX Aus 2025!
We are taking a build of the game that features a bunch of fixes from the playtest, updated tutorial, control changes and some previews of other levels! We are excited to becoming back to Melbourne and showcasing what we have achieved over the last 12 months.
So if you are there, make sure to stop by and say hi! Check out the game and of course chat with us to help us make this the best game it can be! Speaking of showcases though...
Nullstar has been accepted into the 2025 ANZ indie showcase hosted by The Indie Brew. Last years event was amazing and we can't wait to showcase the game alongside other incredible ANZ games. Make sure to tune in on September 5th AEST.
And that's it for this month. We are as always hard at work on the game and trying to hit the necessary milestones for launch. You can keep in touch via our Discord or socials which can be found on our Steam page.
Til next time pilots!
