Welcome to 2026, BVN enthusiasts!
We are officially in the year of Battle Vision Network, and we are thrilled to share more about its development. The game has gone through a major directional change, as it will now be a single-player campaign experience with roguelike inspired progression!
What does this mean for the core gameplay? We are still committed to the tactical color-matching game we initially showed the world. To elaborate on these incredible changes, feast your eyes on this video:
To summarize the major points:
Engage in fast-paced, turn-based tactical battles! Create attack and defense formations through colour-matching gameplay. Combine puzzle prowess, unit abilities, and power enhancements to strategize and win battles!
Choose your path to victory! Go through a run of the game, which acts as a season in this sport/show. Traverse 3 tournament maps with branching paths full of events, rewards, and of course: battles!
Gain new units, abilities, teams, and captains! Start with a team as their captain in your runs, and unlock more as you progress! You earn bux to spend in the locker room, which allows you to draft new units, buy performance enhancements/upgraded abilities, and more!
Every run is unique and full of surprises! Encounter all sorts of privileges and challenges, like pennant flags/global team effects; enemy abilities; and strategies to try out! Experimentation, optimization, and losing are highly encouraged.
Enjoy the intergalactic narrative! Don’t skip out on the commentary throughout your run, or the interviews your team will gladly be a part of! Their charm will surely help you choose a favourite to do a run with.
The game is still in development, so visuals and concepts are still subject to change.
With that said, we are incredibly hyped to give you this intergalactic battle spectacle this year as a PC-first launch! We’ll be sure to share the exact release date soon; for now, we cannot wait to reveal more about BATTLE VISION NETWORK and the world you’ll get to experience.
