Hello, Hero-sama!
After the public test demo of Magi Scapes launched, we discovered a number of issues that may have affected your gameplay experience.
First off, we sincerely apologize to everyone impacted. 🙏
We didn’t anticipate some of these problems, and we’re truly sorry for the frustration they caused.
As you read this, we’re already working hard on fixes, adjustments, and optimizations. A patch will be released as soon as possible.
(Made in UE5 so it’s kinda poorly optimized… please accept my humble sacrifice, Epic🙇♂️)
A: Our character generation model is still being refined and polished. These issues will be gradually resolved in future updates!
Starting with the next version, all character expressions will be output with stable consistency.
A: We’ve identified the trigger for this issue and are working on a permanent fix.
In the meantime, we’re adding an auto-save feature to minimize impact from crashes.
A patch is expected later today. Sorry again for the disruption!
A: Even though Magi Scapes is a pixel-art game, we’re building it in Unreal Engine 5 for enhanced visuals and AI compatibility.
Right now, the game isn’t well-optimized for lower-end PCs. We’ll continue to adjust and optimize performance to reduce hardware requirements in future updates.
A: Some AI-generated items are showing incorrect icons.
We’ve already tracked down the issue and are fixing it now.
A: This means you’re in the NPC generation queue due to high player activity. Please wait a few minutes.
If it takes longer than 15 minutes, contact us through the community for help.
To address some of these issues, we’ll be restarting the game servers on August 28th at 05:00 (CST)/August 27th at 13:00(PST).
During this time, the game will be unavailable. Please make sure to save your progress in advance.
Thank you for your patience and understanding! We’ll keep pushing fixes as fast as we can, and your feedback is helping us improve every step of the way.
