Today, we’re diving into significant updates that will make our game shine even brighter: Lighting and Water! ✨
We’ve changed our lighting system to help the game feel more natural and immersive.
We've switched from Gamma to Linear color space, which means light now behaves more like it does in the real world. Shadows are deeper, sunlight wraps around objects more softly, and colors blend more organically.
To top it off, we've upgraded to ACES tone mapping, making everything feel more cinematic. Soft sunsets, glowing windows, and warm contrasts make you want to stay in every moment. Plus, anti-aliasing removes jagged edges, leaving a smoother finish and cleaner visuals worldwide. It’s all small changes, but together, they make a big difference in how everything looks and feels!
We’ve also examined water in Cozyrama 🔎👀. No longer just a pretty background. Water became an interactive part of the world. It's clearer, deeper, and hugs the edges of the terrain more naturally, bringing an extra layer of life to the environment. Even better, water can now be colored in any way imaginable. Whether shimmering turquoise pools or soft lavender streams, the perfect watery scene is just a brushstroke away.

During the pre-production phase, we realized that the game would be even better if we focused more on decorating the charming environments rather than just the tree itself. So, we’ve decided to change the game’s name to reflect better what it's truly about...🥁Say hello to COZYRAMA! 🥁
