Puppycraft Game Announcement: Moving to Free-to-Play

From the heart of our development team...

Today, we wanted to share some news about a game that has become more than just code and graphics to us—it's become our passion, our late nights, our eureka moments, and sometimes, our heartbreak.

For months, we've poured our souls into PuppyCraft. We've meticulously crafted every rule, trained our AI until it could practically think for itself, and polished every pixel until we could see our reflections in them. Each element was created with you, the player, in mind—hoping to bring joy, challenge, and those precious "aha!" moments that make gaming so magical.

But we've come to realize something important: a game without players is like a puppy without a home—full of potential love with nowhere to give it.

As a new studio without the recognition of bigger names, we've faced the difficult reality that our current pricing model has created a barrier between our creation and the community we so desperately want to share it with. Every empty leaderboard entry and quiet notification bell has been a reminder that something needed to change.

So, we're making a change from the heart.

PuppyCraft will be completely free for everyone. (Changing from paid to free requires Steam's review process, once the review is approved, it can be downloaded and played for free)

This decision wasn't easy—after all, we've invested countless resources into making this game special. But we believe in PuppyCraft, and more importantly, we believe in building a community around it. We'd rather have you playing, laughing, competing, and experiencing our creation than have it sit untouched because of a price tag.

We hope that by removing this barrier, you'll give our little game a chance. Take our puppy home, if you will. Play it, share it, tell us what you love and what you don't. Help us make it better.

Because at the end of the day, we didn't make this game to get rich—we made it to share something we love with people who might love it too.

From our family to yours, thank you for considering PuppyCraft. We can't wait to see you in the maze.

With gratitude and hope,

The PuppyCraft Development Team

P.S. To those who have already purchased the game—thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Your early support means the world to us!
