Introducing our new weapon: Kusarigama!
Previously, we asked you which weapon you’d like to see in the game, and from the feedback we received, we decided that Kusarigama would be a perfect fit!
Currently, we have four melee weapons in the game: “Sword, Staff, Fists, and Kusarigama.” By the time we launch Early Access, we plan to increase this number to eight.
Each weapon has its own unique attacks. Our goal is to make every weapon we add to the game excel in different areas.
For example, the Kusarigama is great for crowd control, making it easier to handle groups of enemies compared to other weapons. Its extended reach is especially helpful when you want to keep enemies at a distance. However, if we’re talking one-on-one combat, the Kusarigama can feel a bit sluggish. But don’t worry—you can carry two different weapons at the same time in the game. You can control a crowd with the Kusarigama and then switch to your sword for close combat. Which two weapons you use will be entirely up to the player!
Of course, weapons aren’t the only way to take on enemies. At least 20 different anomaly powers will be available in the game. You’ll be able to develop these powers to suit your playstyle, adding elemental damage to take them to the next level. For instance, the “dual-directional shooting” ability briefly shown in the video is an anomaly power in the “Range Weapon Attack” category. Powers like this, and many more, will accompany you throughout the game.
And then there’s our Fluffy army, which we haven’t even shown yet! These adorable Fluffies will assist us in battle and amplify our power in fantastical ways. Whether it’s a Fluffy that devours enemies, unleashes lightning, or rains bullets, countless types of Fluffies are waiting for us!
