3 weeks of BETA TEST went by swiftly with multiple patches. We are now pushing all those updates into DEMO v1.1.0
WHAT'S NEW IN DEMO v1.1.0!
FEATURES:
- 2 new entities added: shroomheads, sunbois
- 5 new variant objectives added: RUN, INFECTION, COLLECT, CAPTURE, PURGE
- 3 new platforming maps
- new TAX system for HUB: increase 1 soul for every card purchases each time you return to HUB
- TAX RELIEF: your tax will reduce 50% when you complete CORRUPTION, WATCHER, or NIGHTMARE variants.
- NEW BLACK HOLE MECHANIC added: <F> portal + <X> Soul Gun to activate
- new HUB (still under construction)
- tutorial: Revamped
- wall jump: Revamped
- lore drop 1.0
- localization support for RUSSIAN, SWEDISH, VIETNAMESE, and SPANISH (WIP)
QUALITY OF LIFE CHANGES:
- cheater features: You can choose starting variant now! (this will not be recorded on leaderboards)
- GADGET: PULL now has a movement pause mechanic if at least one entity/object is caught
- WEAPON: katana now will gap close on primary attack if entities are within range
- new models for TUBE entities
- overhauled vfx and sfx on entities/weapons/interaction/ambiences
- music will muffle when you completed an objective
- vsync toggle added
- speed lines added for DASH, THRUST, SLIDES, and SPEED BOOST
- speed increases slightly when kill during SPEED BOOST effect
FIXES:
- fixed white screen on higher variants for corruption stacking
- small bug fixes and optimization for PC
- optimizations for STEAMDECK
