Mesorift Survival — Patch 0.2.9 (March 19, 2026)

Important

In Singleplayer, the ability to reload your game directly from the map has been removed.
You now need to return to the main menu and load your save from there.

Reasons:

• Item duplication (dupes) was possible

• Players could gain unfair advantages by repeatedly reloading

• Vehicles could disappear from the map

With this change, these issues are now prevented.
Savegames can now only be loaded via the main menu.

• Bed crafting time reworked

• Added option to attach weapon attachments to world weapons

• Added setting to center UI element movement

• Improved weapon chamber system

• New control setting: Toggle Aiming

Fixes

• Fixed an issue where baseball bats dealt base damage

• Fixed an issue where crowbars dealt base damage

• Fixed an issue where guitars dealt base damage

• Fixed incorrect items being received when dismantling grow lamps

• Fixed receiving a sleeping bag instead of a metal bed when dismantling

• Fixed door locks not working on log fence doors

• Reworked several wooden base-building elements

• Fixed water-related memory leak

• Reduced vehicle break sound volume

• Reduced engine stop sound volume

• Fixed vehicles disappearing in singleplayer after loading a game

• Fixed plastic chair turning into a wooden chair in inventory

• Fixed inability to jump over half stone base walls

Map

• Fixed minor map issues

• Small changes made to the large airfield

• Fixed flax spawning on roads

• Reworked stone mine near the airfield

• Improved performance of the stone mine near the airfield

Server Admins

No wipe required
Recommended: Update server & clients to version 0.2.9

• Further NavMesh optimizations for faster server startup times

• Reduced actor count (better performance & preparation for more AI spawns)

• Reduced overall server load
