It is finally happening.
Multiplayer is coming to Teardown on March 12.


First of all, we want to give a huge thank you to everyone who participated in the open beta and helped us fine-tune the experience. Your feedback has been invaluable in preparing this release.This is a major update for Teardown. For the first time, you will be able to experience fully destructible chaos together with others, with support for up to 12 players.Here is what you can expect:

  • Play the main campaign in co-op

  • Jump into Sandbox and experiment freely with friends

  • Try out new and exciting multiplayer game modes

We will continue to improve Teardown and the Multiplayer experience. We are currently working on a brand-new multiplayer racing experience planned for release later this year. Stay tuned. There is more to come.

If you cannot wait until launch, the beta is still available on the experimental branch. Head over and try it out today. How to access the beta: Right-click on Teardown on Steam → Select Properties… → Go to Game versions and betas → Select experimental → Let it update and click on Play
