Steam Test Force – Applications Open
We’re getting closer to kicking off our Steam Test Force, and we’re currently gathering applications from players who want to be part of it.
If you enjoy sharing feedback, testing things early, and helping shape what’s coming next for the Steam Edition, you can apply via the Form.
Playing Together on Steam
We’ve noticed the growing number of requests around better ways to play together with friends. This is something we’re actively discussing and exploring internally, and your feedback has been helping guide those conversations. Nothing concrete to share just yet but it’s very much on our radar.
The Competitive Solo Duels ranked system update
There are now 17 divisions, instead of 10
Champion (1)
Master (4)
Gold (4)
Silver (4)
Bronze (4)
In adding these extra divisions, we're also introducing "double promotion" in some divisions: Meaning the top X % will climb two divisions instead of just one
The main purpose of doing this is mainly to make more games matter, as more players in each division will have something to play for - whether single or double promotion. A secondary purpose is to make a better distribution of player based on skill in especially the top tiers, where Champion and Master divisions have grown quite wide skill wise.
Quickplay Team Duels Chat Update
You may have noticed that chat in Quickplay Team Duels is currently disabled. This is a temporary step while we work on improving reporting and moderation systems. Our goal is to bring chat back in a way that feels fairer and safer for everyone rather than rushing it back too soon.
