We’re back with our second developer diary for Parking Garage Simulator. Since the first update, we’ve focused on making the garage feel more alive, unpredictable, and full of stories. Today, we’d like to show you what’s changed, how the world has evolved, and what’s coming next.
After months of work, the garage is no longer just about parking cars. Unexpected events now occur during your shifts:
Mafia Scene. A group shows up, fires shots in the air, and threatens you.
Government Inspection. An officer checks your license. No paperwork means an instant fine.
Homeless NPC. A character looking for work, adding a social and moral dimension to your decisions.
We’ve been working hard to make NPCs feel like real people:
NPC Dialogues. Characters now talk, comment, and react to you.
Pedestrian Behaviour. They wander into the road, crack jokes, or simply watch you work.
New Missions. Small tasks added throughout the day to increase your responsibilities.
We’ve also reworked and polished a lot under the hood:
Loan Shark System. Completely rebuilt, now more stable and balanced.
Vehicle Traffic. Turning issues fixed, cars move more smoothly.
Headlight System. Automatic headlights at night for realism and visibility.
New Sounds and Effects. Added audio for mafia threats, inspections, and NPC dialogues.
Bug Fixes and Optimisation. Numerous issues resolved for smoother performance.
The public demo is just a few days away. Don’t forget to join our community for early previews, behind-the-scenes content, and to help shape future features.
Thanks for following our journey! We can’t wait to share what’s coming next.
