We're Back! Answering Questions About Our Return & Future Plans

Greetings to all our dear players!

Today is a day worth celebrating. After a nearly two-month-long DMCA dispute, Trials of Innocence has finally returned to the Steam Store. We are incredibly grateful for all the support and assistance we received from everyone.

Next, we will answer some questions that players are most concerned about:

1. Has the in-game content been modified after the re-listing?

On this point, please rest assured. We have not modified any content!

2. Did the DMCA dispute have an impact?

These two months of the DMCA dispute were not without consequence for us. We completely lost nearly two months of sales time and missed almost three payment cycles from Steam, which is devastating for a small studio like ours.

During this period, we also encountered other bad news, such as a client for an outsourcing project halting work and disappearing. The studio's income was almost entirely cut off. Any other studio in our position might have already announced its dissolution.

But we are not ready to say that yet. We always believe in the future, just as we did throughout this incident.

3. Was the game's launch successful, and will there be a DLC?

Many players have already completed the game, and we are overjoyed to see so many of you sharing your thoughts and feelings about it. We sincerely thank every player who was willing to set aside any preconceptions and give the game a try!

Regarding a DLC, our original plan was to consider making one only after breaking even. We are very eager to create a DLC, but due to financial constraints, we haven't been able to start. We are still about 30,000 copies short of our break-even point.

However, we are truly grateful for everyone's enthusiasm! We will consider launching a crowdfunding campaign to raise the necessary funds for the DLC. If we decide to proceed, we will make a separate announcement to let everyone know!
